Here's are a couple of pointers to be sure you make the most of your page:
- USE YOUR REGISTERED NAME! If you are registered in the run, please make sure that your page name matches your registered team, family or individual name. LAST DAY TO ACCEPT DONATIONS IS JUNE 8 BEFORE NOON, so please make sure to set June 8 as your deadline.
- The top fundraising team, family and individual will receive a prize on June 8th!
- Use a compelling, good quality image
- If you have a video, include it!
- Share it with as many people as you can
- Be creative and have fun!
- Ensure that content and imagery are appropriate for all ages, are respectful and not derrogitory in any way.
- Please ensure that your words are yours.
- Include #AGHRUN in your page and your posts and encourage your supporters to do the same!

In a recent Abacus Poll in Ontario, 73% of the population admitted they did not know how hospitals are funded - including the fact that the provincial government does not pay for the clinical equipment used by physicians and staff. As a result, AGH rely on community support to contribute the necessary funds. This is why fundraising is so important!
