Elspeth Hunter's Fundraiser

On June 6th, I’ll be hitting the pavement for the Annual Run for Women’s & Newborn Health in support of the obstetrics unit at Almonte General Hospital

This fundraiser is especially meaningful to me as both a mom and a birth companion. I welcomed both of my boys into the world at AGH, and I’ve also had the privilege of supporting other moms through pregnancy, labour, and delivery. One day, I hope to be cheering on future grandbabies born there too!

It’s also personal for another reason, it’s been two years since I’ve run, and I’m using this as my kickstart back into running and working toward a 5K again. I can’t think of a better reason to start than supporting local moms, babies, and families in our community.

My fundraising goal is $200, and every dollar truly makes a difference , whether it’s $5, $10, or more. Your support helps provide much needed equipment and care for local families.
