Raise Her Up Fundraiser

Hi everyone,

Breanna Lunn, Chloe Henderson, Ashley Harris, Alison Lunn, Brittany Thompson, and Madison Letemplier here! Together we are Team Raise Her Up, running in the AGH Run for Women's & Newborn Health in support of the Obstetrics Unit at Almonte General Hospital.

Most of us are not runners... But we are daughters, sisters, neighbours, colleagues, and community members who care deeply about this cause. Whether we were born at the Almonte Hospital, brought our own babies into the world here, or are hoping to do so one day, this is a cause we are proud to support!

Something that may come as a surprise: the clinical equipment in our hospitals are NOT government funded, meaning our hospitals and those who use it, rely on community support for quality care.

We are running to raise awareness and funds for the Obstetrics & Birthing Unit because every woman deserves the highest quality of care during one of the most vulnerable and powerful moments of her life. We are running for the mothers, the newborns, and the families of our community.
