In memory of those we love and support for the Almonte General Hospital / Fairview Manor Foundation, myself, family, and friends (Mary-Anne, Andrew, Chantilly, and Delaney Tiffany, as well as Chris O'Connor), will once again be participating in this year’s AGH Run / Walk for Women’s Health. The Almonte General Hospital is an institution near and dear to our hearts. Our families have experienced the professionalism, care, and compassion of the staff first hand.
As many are unaware, the government does not cover equipment costs for hospitals. It is up to the community to raise the funds required to replace old equipment and purchase new equipment. Raising money in events like this go a long way in supporting our front-line workers and providing quality care at the Hospital. Since we started to participate in this event many years ago, we have managed to collectively raise over $15,000. Those funds have since been used to purchase equipment and provide impactful care and experiences at the Hospital.
