Ottawa Valley Family Health Team

The Ottawa Valley Family Health Team is fundraising to support our wonderful Obstetrics physicians, nurses, and support staff for this years AGH Run for Women’s & Newborn Health. All funds are going to the Almonte General Hospital’s Obstetrics Unit.

In a recent Abacus Poll in Ontario, 73% of the population admitted they did not know how hospitals are funded - including the fact that the provincial government does not pay for the clinical equipment used by physicians and staff. As a result, AGH relies on community support to contribute the necessary funds.  This is why fundraising is SO important!
