Hi! We are the MM Wonder Women, made up of Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry, Councillor Mary Lou Souter, Councillor Jane Torrance and Councillor Bev Holmes (Councillor Vicki Lowe is Wonderful too! She's just on crutches at the moment....)
We're donning our capes to fundraise for the AGH Run for Women’s & Newborn Health, with all funds going to the Almonte General Hospital’s Obstetrics Unit. We're hoping you can help us reach and surpass our fundraising goal!
Fundraisers like these are so important due to the fact that the provincial government doesn't pay for equipment in our hospital. AGH relies on community support to purchase vital capital equipment, ensuring all residents continue to have access to quality health care close to home.
