Last August, one of the scariest things happened to me. I was in a terrifying situation, being a first time mom, and having complications with a premature baby. My story is not of the abnormal. We came out on the other side thanks to the Almonte Hospital. My diagnoses was intervallious thrombus, clot impairing blood flow to placenta, hematoma, and marginal cord insertion. I thank god everyday for the staff at the Almonte Hospital. I couldn’t imagine where we would be if it was not for them. They made us a family of 3, and got us here safely.
I am doing a fundraising for the AGH Walk for Women and Newborn Health, and need donations to make sure we contribute to the amazing hospital we have in our community.
